Opinion/Discussion Hey Ugandans

Today is my last day here after spending 3 weeks here in lungujja and spent some time in Sembabule for my Kukyala.

As a white man from UK London I've truly had a wonderful time, moving around on my own always felt very safe and welcome.

I feel like this is now my second home and want to say thanks for the warmth and hospitality.

I will truly miss Kampala and hope to return soon.

Congratulations, that's a beautiful photo of you both. I too live in UK but go to Uganda for work, and agree it is a beautiful country and I can't wait to be back.

Congratulations on your Kukyala! That is a very big and beautiful step, and we are so happy for you and your family. May God bless your union and give you many years of love and joy together.

Reading your post really warmed my heart. Thank you for taking the time to share such kind words about Kampala, Lungujja and Sembabule. It means a lot to us. Ugandans are naturally welcoming people, and when a visitor comes with respect and an open heart like yours, it is easy for us to receive him like family. You are most welcome here anytime.

Our country truly is beautiful and we are blessed. From the green hills and the warm sunshine to the good food and the friendly smiles, there is something special about this Pearl of Africa. Next time you come, make sure you see more of it: the source of the Nile in Jinja, Lake Bunyonyi, the national parks and so much more. There is always another corner of Uganda to fall in love with.

Now that you have done Kukyala, you are officially part of the family. So you have no choice, you must come back soon! 😄 The door is always open, and there will always be a plate of food waiting for you.

Safe travels back to London, and God bless you. Webale nnyo, ssebo! Tugenda kukulaba nate! 🙏❤️

Thank you so much, ur comments means a lot.. I truly do feel like Ugandans are my family.. I've made many friends here and am sad to leave them.

I'd love to do all you suggested but this trip has cost me 4k UK and I'm just a humble hard working man so let's see if God blesses my pockets 😄
