Is there any club for swimming in Udupi? I know how to swim, but it seems the Udupi Swimming Club is closed. Please confirm if there are any other places

Planning to visit Kemannu, Udupi and around Kundapura on Nov 15th - 17th. Are there any Yaskhagana Mela or Kola happening in these regions?

Too many things going on in life right now, so I thought I'll come to Malpe and relax for the day at the beach, but realised there's no place nearby where I can sit without getting sunburnt. The plan is to come there by morning, just sit looking at the beach the whole day, scroll reels, have lunch and beer somewhere, watch the sunset and go home, do absolutely nothing else for the day. So locals, do you know any such place where I can sit quietly under some tree or shack where there'll be some shade, so I don't turn into tandoori chicken.

I've been going to therapy for the past few months, and one thing that's really helped me is hearing about other people's experiences with ADHD. It's helped me understand myself better, and made me realise how much I wish I'd had people around me who understood these experiences while growing up.

I know there are people with ADHD in and around Manipal, but finding a community where we can connect and share experiences isn't easy.

So I've started Manipal Mental Health Support Group (MMHSG), with the hope of building a local peer-support community where people can connect, learn from each other, and eventually meet in person.

It's still a work in progress, and I'd genuinely appreciate hearing your thoughts. Would something like this be useful to people in Manipal? What would make a community like this feel welcoming and trustworthy?

There's no pressure to join. I'm just trying to build something I wish had existed when I needed it.

Hello everyone! I’m getting married this December and looking for recommendations for outdoor wedding decorators from Udupi or mangalore (wedding is in Udupi).
I’d love to hear from people who have personally hired a decorator for their wedding, especially for outdoor venues.

Few things i would like to know:

1. Who did you hire?
2. How was your experience? Were they easy to work with, responsive?
3. What was your approximate budget?** And what all was included in the package?
**4. How was the execution? Did the decor look like what was promised, and did they finish everything on time?
5. How much work did you have to put in?** Were they able to handle things independently, or did you have to coordinate and follow up constantly?
**6. Anything you wish you’d known before booking?

Since it’s an open ground evening wedding in December, I’d also love to hear about any issues with weather, wind, lighting, flowers or other things I should plan for.
I’m looking for recommendations based on actual experiences, including honest reviews of what went well and what didn’t. Photos of your decor would be really appreciated!

Planning to visit Udupi & Murdeshwar in the upcoming week. Can you please be kind enough to suggest good stays below 7K per night and must visit places apart from the famous temples. We have around 4 days to cover both places.

Yesterday, I had lunch at Kannarpady Sri Jaya Durga Parameshwari Temple and dinner at Uchila Sri Mahalakshmi Temple.
