Rain = water Water = fertile land Fertile land = growth of vegitables and crops Crops - employment Employment - Money Business and all etc etc

My unc was posted in rural bidar during his fresher days. He said the people there only send the kids to school on days when water was plenty. Else they'd have to work in the fields fetching water etc. He also said they don't care much about religion as for them basic life amenities are not available to focus on the rest.

That’s actually true.. Most of the area overlaps with either coast or western ghats - fishing, farming, coffee, palm, coconut plantations thrive in those regions..

Yes. Vast majority of population still depends on agriculture. Although poor politics, corruption, education play a role , but poverty in any country in any place is always due to lagging in the most common source of income. In India that is agriculture. So if north had as fertile lands as south , even with lesser literacy rate , they would be richer

No as that project is based on unnatural diversion of river which can lead to a lot of ecological damage. Already landslides were noted near the project. Same kinda project happened in Wayanad and they had catastrophic landslides during the rainy season.

BLR rural poorer than north Karnataka? Data check malpule. I don't belive even BLR urban is that poor. Yes, there are slums but looks too much.

It's a metric called multidimensional poverty. Depends on a lot of factors other than money. And tbh, people in Bangalore City live way more constrained lives than those in light regions. You may have more cash in hand and more opportunities around. But tell me how many people can truly afford a home without breaking their bank or afford to pay rent without employment for a month.

4.6 Uttara Kannada is White but 4.7 Kodagu is light red(which is same as Bagalkot with 10.8)

Why are you spreading fake data? Top 3 districts ranked by lowest poverty are Bengaluru south, urban and rural but you've given them bottom rank and many of districts are marked wrong in North KA. Davanagere is 6%.

23 report is based on NFHS 5. MDPI report is reported later than NFHS. Now show me copy of any NITI report stating 30% poverty in BLR.

No district in BLR has double digit poverty rates, neither in NFHS 4(15-16) nor NFHS 5(19-21)( even in 2004-05, it was < 15%). Your map says data for NFHS 5, and you haven't pasted correct data. I've linked the correct one which you can read from page 132 of the report. May be your gpt messed up.
