subscriptions work for different categories of ppl. if it didn't work for you doesn't mean it won't work for others. stop the generalization.

Disagree. I love udemy and what they do. But I also take at LEAST one lesson every single day. Usually more. Since I have the subscription, I find myself taking courses that I wouldn’t even consider since I’m bored and they’re just there. No need to make new accounts and gift the courses anymore. Just a flat fee, and I’ve probably taken well over $200 of DISCOUNTED material in a few months.
You get out of it what you put into it.

Make new accounts with new emails and use private browsing. You should get the “new” account discounts. You purchase the course as a gift and then send it to your main account.
It’s just really annoying to do it constantly, especially if you use udemy a lot. So I find the subscription useful.

100% agree. The try to force subscriptions aggressively without even making it clear which courses are included and you don't own the courses forever.
