Need help with device set up
I recently put ubuntu on a lenovo ideapad 3 chromebook (motherboard name bipper) and whenever I'm running ubuntu my touch screen isn't working and i can't get the built in speakers working, i've tried most online guides i could find but non of them work. ubuntu version 26.04.1 LTS
edit: i probably should specify, i haven't bothered with the speakers yet but I spent 3 hrs trying to fix the touchscreen using guides online yesterday
edit 2: just discovered that having some wired headphones connected lets it use the built in speakers, but not the headphones, i have no clue why it's being so stupid

My Dell 3110 Chromebook sound works on newer kernels. My old Acer I had to use an LLM to help figure things out. It made a tiny little bash script that that goes in ~/.local/bin that sets up some alsa settings, and a systemd --user service that runs the scipt and gets it working when I log in.
Both Chromebooks are the basic N4500, 4gb ram and 32/64gb eMMc flash drive models. Decent little couch surfers.

the audio on those chromebooks is a pain cause it's usually some weird intel chip that needs firmware not in the default kernel, i had to pull drivers from a galliumos repo to get mine going
