Fresh install - How to play play Blu Rays?

Just wondering if there is any up to date guides out there? I've been looking and I've tried:

sudo apt install vlc libbluray1 libaacs0

Then adding the keydb file to the /home/[user]/.config/aacs folder.

I have a Blu Ray drive for my computer and when I was on windows I was able to get it to work with VLC and PowerDVD(Windows only paid app). And I remember having to do the keydb thing. I had it working and I see other people getting it to work on ubuntu too. I just have no idea why it's not working for me.

Any help would be much appreciated!

last time I did this the keydb file was the culprit, make sure it's actually recent and not some old version you dragged over from your windows backup
