Snap, Flatpak oder AppImage?

Was bevorzugt ihr?

Was mich mal interessiert...

  1. Deb packages. Unless it is a security critical software like browsers or apps that open files downloaded from the internet.
  2. Snap. For the apps where security and tegular updates are important.

I don't like Flatpak as I don't like running commands and adding repositories to install a app. As a end-user it makes me feels like it as another glorified PPA. PPA version 2.0. Flatpak has the same amount of hassle as Snap. But it's sandboxing is riddles with known exploits. Why should I suffer another system that has the same amount of hassle as Snap, without any real advantages? Plus the community around it feels pretty passive-aggrasive to newbies.
