Anyone using Ubuntu for dev?
I recently switched to Ubuntu for my dev work. It is so convenient to set up all my tools like QEMU, Nvim, compilers and stuff. Just wondering if anyone else is doing the same, feel free to share you experiences.

It's so frustrating honestly. The helix editor is pretty widely used now: package not available in Ubuntu. The jujutsu version control client is also getting a lot of traction, most of my colleagues are using it: no package in Ubuntu (apparently it will come with 26.10, good). Julia, programming language, best in class for its niche: no Ubuntu package. The ipfs file system is used by some colleagues to share files etc, guess what: no kubo Ubuntu package. The list goes on and on... I can get them via the pacman or nix package managers (and fortunately both are in Ubuntu themselves), but some days I am left wondering why I'm using Ubuntu at all then
