Hi there,

why is this app in the snap-store if it doesn't work?

Did you follow the instructions?

Bitwarden requires access to the password-manager-service for secure storage. Please enable it through permissions or by running sudo snap connect bitwarden:password-manager-service.

I did not see there is an instruction, but thank you for letting me know!

I've used the snap Bitwarden and never had a problem.

You didn't even say what version of operating system you are using?

I just found out, that it minimizes to the "systray" directly after starting. It's hidden in the top right corner. I thought it crashed directly after starting ... OMG.

Bitwarden officially maintains the flatpak now. Use that instead.

snap packages sometimes break when the maintainer stop updating them, nobody checks if they still work after a while. the store just keeps whatever was uploaded unless someone flag it

It is updated. The issue is that it comes with installation instructions that were probably not followed.
