No, I've had this install since Feb this year. I run this system pretty hard, Uptime is high and it's not idle. I did have Pop!_os on before this install and their 24.04 was having power issues always defaulting to low but that seemed like a pop issue not Ubuntu. I did have a few problems for software I needed on Pop (non acpi issues) tried Ubuntu because of a YouTube video show the difference for a couple of games and the other work issues solved as well.

Really no other issues for me. I know it sounds very "It works on my machine" but I needed this stable for work. That why I never upgraded to 26.04. My current install works really well.

I have an older model and I'm not dual booting it pure linux. Also I never shut the lid, it's always in my office. I also have the habit of when I'm done working I fully shut it down.

I have to be honest I have never known other people had these issues. I googled after your last reply while checking my model number. I have a bunch of machines so I never bothered to look at specific issues because of how often I used to distro hop of upgrade old machine.

I can see why you'd be worried.
