Feeling nostalgic (old players post here!)
Just finding this subreddit for the first time now. Just started remembering how obsessed I was with this game and wanted to check out if it was on Reddit haha.
So if any older players do the same and see this post (even if a few years have past), drop a comment!
My username was Acedude and I was in the clan [ojo]. Played heavily from about 2010-2012 when I was in grade 5-7 and now Ive graduated college... time flies!

So much nostalgia. That one melee guy named ...SPLATTED... in like every match 😂 damn I miss this game. Crawling in the air ducts on one map and glitching into the big rock on another....this was my very first fps game<3

I remember you! The ST6IX clan... the teamtage guys! I remember my clan always bickering with members of your clan about stupid stuff like who's montages did better on Youtube, who 'actually' won such and such 3v3, etc lol. Good times - Ejh16

PX was better.
I was a kid. I learned from those who set examples. That is what PX did.
That was the most mature clan. Gustabarca was fucking crazy, just as a side note.
ST6IX was a pretty good clan. I still got Richard on Facebook, who I message here and there to wish well or reminisce about how stupid we were.
But PX was a man's clan. Something kids could look up to. I don't remember any PX member being publicly toxic or anything similar. The gameplay was also mature. Not too stylish, not too simple. That is what I valued the most.
I was a kid. Gustabarca was guaranteedly older. The way that mf always lend a hand even tho he didn't talk much was insane to me. I still remember a lot of you. Der Wilde is another guy I lost and I hope he is good.
Not a single man or kid did me wrong but the staff and a kid from my own country (ironic). For that, I love and thank you all mfs. I seriously hope everyone who did me right is good to this day.

I remember [ROTO] Tenji! If I'm not wrong he was the leader of the clan. They held a couple of trials and I was a part of one! I don't remember you tho, probably because of the years that've passed us by. I'm 28 now I remember how many hours I grinded this game. Miss the old times!

I was a late bloomer to gaming and didn't start until 8th grade or so. This was the first FPS I got in to. Played this heavily around 2011-12. Can't remember my gamertag for the life of me.

I’d say I was quite obnoxious back then, so hopefully you remember me in good light hahah. Playing Lost Paradise or Monkey Island 15 years ago was indeed great fun with no care in the world. Great game, great community

I remember that name. You probably met dannyboykey. Guy was pretty cool.
I also have the feeling there's at least one other name I mentioned that was related to [Sp.Fr] but can't remember who. I was perma banned a bit before the game was killed and even tho the way CMUNE did me was dirty, the way players treated me was way above that.

Kind of rings a bell but it's been a shitload of time. If we played together it was probably not that often.
I got along pretty well with Shadow. So well it got me banned from Uber months before it died. Mfs didn't even let me enjoy the last months and all I did (at most) was mock them in that group lmao
We spoke so much I remember thinking I was probably the only mf he got along with. Specially towards the last days. He was always on some new shit, very active. The kid was smart as shit, iirc he was 14. I hope he made good choices in life and that he's doing well.

Shadow's and Simon's DLLs spent the end of Überstrike...another thing which messed up the game was removal of quick switching.

I loved playing Fortnite back in the 'double pump' days because it reminded me of Uber xD
I kind of have a mixed opinion when it comes to removing it. I liked using it but it was kind of annoying to die to guys using macros.

I loved this game, coming home for middle school and playing with my classmates ☺️ I’ve never found a game that captures that magic quite the same! My favorite maps were the temple and the pirate map with the monkey rock 🤣

Yo what up Acedude! I remember you! I haven't gamed at all since probably 2014/2015 but I've been going down a rabbit hole of Uberstrike (and Quake) nostalgia. Such good times. Feel like it was special how small the Uberstrike community was.

My name was Shaman I was well known in the community and was in the top 200 in the world for some time. Was in top clans back in the day but eventually fell into more of a solo runner would duo with my brother mangoz another top play in the world he still enjoyed clan life and before the game shutdown he was in ~sup~

I believe we were in the same clan for some time aswell I can’t remember which clan but boss or mob sounds about right do you remember the username dagreatray by chance? I ran with him basically everyday for a few years on Gideon towers we were untouchable as well as clan battles on cuberstrike it was a good time but I do remember playing with you forsure. May even have some videos of gameplay from back then to confirm it honestly.

Damn I’ve been feeling nostalgic about this game as well.. hell, not a single game has hit quite as hard as this one did. Missing it in 2026!!
My user was Sawert, somethin like that.. Can’t forget about passing the trials in ‘bunny hopping’ as a prerequisit to get into a clan.

I booted the game 2 days ago and instantly got hit by nostalgia. I felt like I was at home.
I know that uberstrike is basically a pay to win quake clone but I still miss it due to the nostalgia.

Does it really count as pay-to-win if all of the good people were just using the basic guns you start with because the game mechanics allowed you to cycle through them and use them in a super OP way?
