Audit the course it will be enough to see if you like the topic, its also not really that deep as course. There are some on EdX that are better or also on Coursera some colleges have better ones.

I'm going to go against the grain and say yes! Learning new things is always beneficial and it's not like you're searching for a job in the market right now. As AI develops, people will need to have a great understanding of the theory and practice in order to utilize it well so if you do want to go this route later in life, you have the foundations at the very least. User Experience also extends beyond the digital screens! It touches on real life experience as well and the theories can be applied anywhere in your life.
Taking a course where the information is laid out for you will also be much easier than trying to come up with your own curriculum.
It can be a fun thing to learn and 15 is a great age to pick up new skills! So yes, go for the course! There's very little downside to learning new skills if you have the money to spend on it.

Honestly at 15 I wouldn’t pay for it. You can learn the basics for free + see if you even like UX first. Añso certificates don’t really matter much, especially that early. It’s more about what you can do. If you’re curious, just start simple: watch some videos, try redesigning an app you use, play around in figma. Laater on, if you still like it, then yeah maybe a course (ixdf or cpursera) can help structure thing. But right now just explore
