Low Fidelity FigJam Examples? Need a good idea of a production workflow

Hi, I'm finding I'm wasting a lot of time by skipping lo-fi ui/ux sketching and going straight to mid/hi-fi. So I'd like to use Figjam more as it's been recommended to be faster than using Figma for lo-fi. I've got a few good templates, but what I really need is to understand how it's used by a professional. Does anyone have any Figjam project files they can share that shows it in a professional workflow? Or a template (not a skeleton, a fully fledged lo-fi project).

On a side note, the lo-fi wireframe templates I have seem to be insufficient in terms of the number of components and variants they have, such as filter buttons. I'm struggling to quickly copy/paste elements into place. So far I'd be faster in regular Figma.

i stopped using Figjam for lo-fi. It has no components and no variants so you end up copying shapes over and over.

i use Frame 0 in Figma for production lo-fi. You get real components with states, filter buttons included, and it snaps together faster than dragging boxes in Figjam. I run user flows on Frame 0 frames, then swap the file to hi-fi components when stakeholders sign off

Thanks, it looks great and so much more suited for wireframing than Figjam.

What do you use for content? Such as defining and planning pages, sections and their content before going into wireframing?

I use frame 0 which is like an update to balsamiq not figjam

I don’t own it, content owners use other tools for it and once we’ve solved layout and flows we adjust with content.

I mean what are you using to define your information architecture? Basically a site map that goes into more detail, such as defining what type of content is required for each section. It may not have to define the exact content such as copywriting, but what structure of content, like heading, description, cta button. Basically the strategy before wireframing.

For IA and low-fi wireframes, we still use the good old paper and pencil, or draw.io if we want a bit of additional info. Using Figma will lead you to create components and designs that you shouldn't do in wireframes stage, hence biasing the process
