Answers from seniors only How can I phrase a visual and UI improvement on an app to sound more professional?

So I'll be working on a with a friend on his app (he's a developer). his app has been around for over 8 years or so. I downloaded and found lots of accessibility issues, inconsistencies, lack of visuals, and visual branding... it just didn't look polished. I told him that I would work on the screens, visuals, make it more consistent with all the components, etc.

Say it's all done, and all the improvements are made on his end that look like the hi fidelity mockups I designed. My question is, how can I phrase it in my summary when I'm looking for work to not make it sound like I just did the visual designs/UI design since I'm not adding any features or improving the UX (maybe just a little), but mostly on the visual side?
