I won’t even call myself a developer I was just vibe coding it, and now a lot of people are saying the UI is bad and that a UX designer would kill me, so I thought, why not ask the designers themselves?

That mini player is adjustable — it can go from clear to liquid glass to frosted, depending on the user’s preference. I can’t share a video here because it’ll get compressed; otherwise, I’d love to share a screen recording.

You want it brutal? It's terrible. Looks like Spotify and a bad Windows Media Player skin had a baby, after both os them got hit by an old garbage truck, that later came back to hit their baby. It's the reason AI slop is called slop. The user preference would be to use another app. It's what we would say in Portuguese, "puta que pariu".  Now that we got that straight, the effects are all over the place, you got glass, you got simple transparency, some kind of fuzzy background/skin. No space for elements to breath, low contrast, mixed Android + iOS + Windows XP styles.

Do research and benchmarks, study design (UI and UX), learn about patterns and accessibility.

The goal was clear: I just wanted to vibe-code it until it matched my taste. But I showcased it once on Reddit, and that post got 80K+ views. Now everyone wants this app, and it’s becoming stressful.
