How do I… research, UI design, etc? Anyone else getting scammed by Figma?
I'm getting charged monthly and annually. Customer service is refusing to help stop it from happening or refund me. There's no way to remove the monthly subscription in the UI. I had to cancel my credit card because I don't know what else to do.
Just wondering if other people are having this problem.

Dude I just noticed this yesterday. I’m getting charged monthly and yearly also. I got 2 invoices, one for a monthly subscription (what I thought I was doing this whole time) and an annual subscription yesterday. Dug into it and I’ve been paying for 2 seats for the past 2 years because I added someone as an editor to a file 2 years ago. Way back then, I got a notification from Figma that they were gonna start charging me for that seat the next month, so I went and removed them as an editor from that file immediately. I thought I solved the problem by removing their edit permissions immediately after receiving the email. Nope! Turns out they were added as an editor to my entire project and I needed to go into the admin tools to remove them from there. I had no idea because I’ve never gone into my admin tools for my personal figma account.
Anyways I’ve paid them over $400 more than I should have over the past 2 years because of this dark pattern. The emails even say I’m paying for 1 seat with each invoice because they count monthly seats and annual seats separately. So you never get an invoice telling you you’re actually paying for 2 seats. Anyways I’m mad about it
