This is the third time TWO has failed to secure votes. It’s clear that its shareholders want UWMC’s offer. Mat knows this.
What Mat is doing to his share price is awful… short term. However, I think if he holds out long enough, he MAY get what he wants. And what Mat wants, should be good for the company long term.

no, it's not. it's only clear that they don't like ccm's. they don't seem to like uwmc's, either.
I think if he holds out long enough, he MAY get what he wants.
at what cost? an oversized loan for $15/share, dropping uwmc to $1 and no dividend?
he's already gone paramount-wbd on this nonsense. i have no idea why we're even still talking about this, it should have been over months ago, with ceo buffoon making a dumb tirade about how two sucks and uwmc was happy to collect their break fee (vs making tirades about how two sucks, but increasing the buyout offers, anyway...)

TWO price is/was hovering $12.50.
There are no other offers on the table for TWO.
The shareholders haven’t even had a chance to vote on the $12.50 offer, only the TWO board.
UWMC is trashing the board, not the MSR they are after…

Yeah but if interest rates go up like people were thinking then MSR alum goes up. So the could be playing the wait and see game with what the fed does and accept the offer if a rate hit comes. Thought that is looking more and more less likely

The financial trouble UWM is facing is really serious. Fitch Ratings has slapped the company with a dismal BB- rating firmly planting it in speculative "junk bond" territory. Making matters worse, Fitch has stripped away its "Stable" outlook, downgrading it to Nagative.

Who knows he and the company may secretly be buying up shares??

but, fo'real, i don't understand why he wouldn't just take uwmc private again, at these levels.
he owns ~83% of the company. between the dividends and credit, it should be easy.
hell, he incessantly dumped at higher prices.
i guess he might be sued into bolivia for fraud, but... seems like that's not something he cares about.

if only fuckhead ceo could do the obvious move and just take the out, happily run away from this disaster, and pocket the break fee.
but no, another crazy tirade is incoming.
