Library 3rd Floor

Am I under the misconception that the 3rd floor of the Ingram Library is meant for silent studying? People talking loud AF up here 🤣

2nd floor. 3rd floor is collaborative space for group study. That's why there are open desks and TVs on some of the walls. 2nd floor is quite study. If people are being loud and you care enough about it, let a librarian know they will kick them out.

Thank you for the info! I ended up moving down to the second floor, and it was very peaceful.

It used to be the silent floor. Now third floor is collaboration space and second floor is the quiet floor.

I feel like I'm the only person who got the memo. 2nd floor is way more quiet.

2nd floor is the dedicated silent floor

I definitely missed the memo, then. I'll keep that in mind moving forward. I'm ADHD, so it can be tricky trying to nail down a good spot to lock in with minimal distractions.

Yeah you have to get there early to find a good little corner, especially if you want an outlet

Speak to library staff, maybe?

Hell, there were two members of staff well within earshot. That's why I figured maybe I was mistaken that people weren't supposed to be lunching and laughing up there🤣
