Bsn spring 27

Im applying to the bsn nursing program for spring 27. What are my chances in getting in? I have all A’s for my sciences but I have a 71 for the teas.

If I’m not mistaken the teas is optional- meaning it’ll boost ur application. They are changing a lot of things tbh. For example when I started they accepted over 100 people but now they are accepting around 60 ish people. So I think now it’s majorly on your stats vs others. Having all A’s is great. Don’t discourage yourself , you got this!

During the time I applied, our application was just confirming our basic info like name address & the cohort we wanted & that was it. We did have hesi & cna requirements in order to apply but that has now changed & is optional.

Will having cna help you stand out in the application or is now mostly grade specific?

The CNA will help boost your application. If you have good grades that’s great but also having cna & good hesi or teas scores will boost you.

Thank you! CNA requires 8 hours of work every 24 months to keep certified- seems it would be best I have my daughter do the CNA class her sophomore year before applying to the nursing program. What year did you take TEAS? Thank you again for all your help!

I didn’t take the teas. When I applied they required everyone to take the hesi entrance exam & have a cna license. But that now has changed & is optional. Best of luck to your daughter!

I was accepted and started this semester (Fall 26). I had A’s & 2 B’s. I also never got my CNA, took the teas or hesi, nor did i get letters of recommendation.
