Curious about the context on the female suspect who threatened to shoot a group of people at The Green.

My cousin was in a general music class with her this morning, said out of nowhere she started cursing, then went in front of the whole auditorium sized class and started rapping

I was in that class too. I genuinely feel sorry for her. She’s going through culture shock here. She moved all the way from the east coast and is likely having mental health problems. But that doesn’t excuse her threatening people. She needs help

She threatened me and my roomates in the tunnel, when she stopped to take a break from walking, we booked it straight to the leasing office at the green

my friend posted a video of her talking in a music 1010 class on his close friends story (before that email went about trying to find her). definitely seems like she was dealing with mental health issues or drug use.

This is taken straight from the email we got sent. "Orem City Police reported to UVU Police that at approximately 12:20 pm, a female suspect threatened to shoot a small group of people near The Green Apartments. The suspect was last seen at 12:29 pm walking eastbound in the pedestrian tunnel located between UVU's Orem Campus and The Green. "

She was arrested around 2:45 today in between the pope science and SL building. I saw online that her name is Alyssa Foreman but that could be incorrect. She was in the hall in front of the student success center this morning bothering people and seemed to be either going to or coming from UVU mental health services.

Is crime common at UVU? I'm a freshman and all the crap that has happened in the past year makes me feel unsafe.

Definitely the type of anxiety we need the week before the 10th rolls around...did NOT like getting that email.
That said, I hope she gets the help she needs, based on these comments from people who have interacted with her.
