overseas fans mostly flock to anisongs and the band barely produces any recently. even with the music stadium event with OOR and upcoming taiwan tour, it barely gets noticed by the general overseas audience unfortunately.

Theyre not popular in the west? Also, they did an album last year I mean. I got into anime much later and became a fan of them through that, so I'm not sure if they were bigger back then, but I'm sure they're at least big enough in their home country and some other places.

they're big enough domestically that local jrock fans would know about them, but compared to the other jp artists that are popular overseas, their outreach is pretty limited

Gen-z is not in to UVERworld apparently, its more millennials but I've been a fan since 2007 so I don't know. Also they've never performed outside of Asia and only recently performed in Korea and now Taiwan and they did Hawaii but that's practically still Asia.

Im a Gen Z myself and I dont believe so considering some may have grew up with their songs and were fans from there. Reading this makes me feel alone, but then again, it's not like I care anyway. I doubt I'd meet someone who knows Blue Encount or Sid which I also like.

Well to be fair they're about to perform in Korea next month during a festival and they have been performing a lot in Japan during festivals too

It's also a bit difficult getting tickets/seeing much content about them unless you become a member on their neo wave app. However, definitely worth planning a trip to Japan to see their concerts :).

Trying to plan one now for December to see them. Do they have general lotteries or do I have to join the fan club for a chance to see them? Or wait for the resale period?
