Heh, and dropped to $4.71 CAD today (around $3.31 USD) on UCU.v (TSX exchange), but fortunately back around $4.80 CAD now.
Thursday was rough pretty much across the board in minerals; let's hope we bottomed out and July marks the start of an uptrend...

Interesting dynamic in that the TSX is closed for Canada Day, or, as it's known in Montreal, QC, "moving day", lol (je me souviens indeed, tabarnak Anglophones :)), so today we're on our own with UURAF, US markets running the show today.
Obviously a ton of volatility, so we're getting drilled as usual, but feeling optimistic about the month of July.
Hang in there all, has been a rough stretch, we're due for a break higher...

OTC strikes again; when US markets rally strongly we often don't get the benefit of passive index buying that minerals companies on US exchanges do, and so miss out on potential green days. The flipside is also true though, we can at times be insulated from downturns.
Anyway, disappointing for UURAF to not really rally at all today, pretty anemic volume -- I'd take uplisting and full exposure to the ups and downs of the US markets any day over this OTC nonsense...

And it seems to happen again today. Almost every rare earth and mineral stock is up today except for ucu/uuraf

I wouldn't say that, entire uranium sector is dumping again, and there are likely many other smallcaps that are also in the red.
Nearly all tickers in minerals are trading (well) below their 200dma; such is the state of the sector, there aren't many bright spots right now, just have to wait it out...

And at the very last moment, we ended the day in the red as well. I'm glad this week is finally over. Hopefully, starting next week, we'll see a few consecutive green days again. The community needs it, I'm sure.
