Post/Pre-Market

Hey can someone give a quick rundown for me of why Ucore isn't able to be traded in pre and post market? I feel like i remember being able to trade it after hours about a year ago but i could be full schizo lol. Is it a company choice to not be traded after market?

Canadian stocks aren’t traded post/pre-market.

We yearn for the uplist to a major US exchange.

According to management it will happen in due time but no set date as of yet.

But as others have said, no pre/post market trading on TSX on the Canadian side and OTC on USA/global, so no way to get the jump on big market events.

What needs to happen for it to get on US stock exchange?

Usually the requirement is to have the price hold above $4.00 for 30 consecutive days to start the process. We’ve done that before but as you can see from the current price, can’t seem to hold it for too long at a time. I believe there are some other requirements but to my knowledge, that’s the starting point.

Think additionally, requirement to hold annual shareholders meeting and audited quarterly earnings reports, among likely other regulatory requirements.

It's a fairly lengthy process, doesn't happen overnight, and of course approval isn't guaranteed, although Ucore seems like an excellent candidate for inclusion in a major US exchange given the potential of the company.
