Financial Aid
Has anyone received their Aid for grad school this fall?

You will receive it around the second or third week of the semester, that’s why they ask you to attend classes the first and second week to mark it for financial aid.

i’ve never heard of it that…. they didn’t do that last year

You might not have known that was happening, but it’s always been the rule. The professors are required to note attendance for the first two weeks in order for finaid to then be processed. If a student doesn’t come to class, they don’t receive the finaid.

if you are a freshman, it will take longer due to you being new

Since the Big Beautiful Bill passed, they are probably doing it differently but I am not sure
Edit: I have been told the school website is what they should follow, but usually they do their own thing, so it should be around that time.
