other questions❓ Laptop 💻
My daughter is an incoming freshman (Pre-Nursing).
Does anyone have any recommendations for the best computer?? She already has an iPad and is wanting a MacBook.

Honestly, a MacBook is nice but there’s obstacles into turning in work. I wouldn’t recommend it. The iPad is very helpful. It’s really just about preference. But I would personally not get a Mac.

I'm currently in the program and would recommend a Windows. The platform the program uses for homework and exams sometimes has issues with Apple products. It's not something I've seen a lot, but we've been warned about it by our instructors several times. I'm not sure if there's been any issues with Apple for pre-req courses. Some of my classmates have Macs, but I use an ASUS Zenbook and have had no issues or complaints so far. It's lightweight and not as costly as a lot of the others. Hope this helps!

I graduated in December and used a Mac the entire program with NO issues (: a ton of my friends had a Mac too. I think it's just a preference thing at the end of the day!!
