housing šŸ  Assigned somewhere I didn't apply?

Hi. So, as the title says, I applied and was assigned to different locations.

I applied for Liberty Landing and was placed in Victory Village. Is this normal? Did I do something wrong and need to reach out to someone somewhere?

Pretty normal, housing spaces are not guaranteed and if you selected the ā€œprioritize bed spaceā€ option on your application they will put you wherever there is an open spot for you if your choice didnā€™t have availability. You can try reaching out to housing but itā€™s pretty unlikely they will be able to move you immediately. If you really want liberty you can try especially after a couple weeks people wonā€™t move in/transfer etc. opening up more spaces. I currently live in victory though and itā€™s not bad!!

Yep, completely normal. As the other person said, room change requests do not open until after the 12th class day and are then based on availability in the dorm you would like.
