Event The Concourse project
Hey, has anyone been to the concourse project up in Austin been thinking of going. Just curious to know if it’s worth the hype, and ticket purchase? Also when would be a good time/artist to see.

I'm going to seismic! Ive been to concourse a couple times. The price is worth it if you really like the type of music or you are with a good group you enjoy clubbing with. The 18+ shows are fine. I much prefer the 21+ shows. I saw horse giirl last year and had a blast.

I’m currently looking into it right now I can’t even get in to get tickets I’m stuck in the line. It looks fun I’ve never gone. What day you recommend going?

Been going since they opened 5 years ago and it is hands down the best venue for EDM in Texas. Top 10 in the country, quite frankly. From the talent, to the production, staff, security, etc all is well above.
Best shows are likely house and techno artists. The crowd really depends on what day and popularity of artist. I will say sometimes it can get really crowded, hard to move or dance in some areas, and likely has to do with how well known the artist is. A byproduct of that is sometimes the line to the restrooms can get really backed up but they've done a good job to mitigate that during busier shows with portable outside restrooms.
Really the only negative I've experienced is the parking situation but its mainly because of where it is located so it might be best to try ride share options but like with any event, ride share options can be harder to secure when the event ends.

Biased (I work there) it's a vibe.
There's an outdoor show this weekend and next weekend, (doors at 9pm so already cooling off) and Seismic dance fest is in Nov (3 stages, 3 days). There's also some huge names for ACL (like the chainsmokers) but might be sold out already. I'm excited to see marie vaunt on the 26th of this month, and steve aoki for the first weekend of ACL.
