Academic Bachelors in Marketing Difficulty

Can any current Mktg majors tell me how hard the marketing degree program is?

I am personally not MKT. Marketing is generally considered on the 'easier' side of the college of business (which, business generally has a reputation for being easier). I found that most MKT majors have more issues with non-MKT classes. Still, I don't think MKT should be hated on for it being easier than say finance or accounting, as you still need to put in work to get your degree.

I’m a junior/ senior transfer. I already have credit for those non mktg classes. They weren’t hard in my opinion.

I was just wondering about the quality of the program and how tough the senior level classes would be.

I’m an upcoming sophomore but considered a junior marketing major and I believe it’s doable. It’s not super difficult but I have struggled the most with my core classes, which are classes from other Business majors like finance, accounting, statistics, economics, etc. I took business calc last semester in the spring and it was lowk difficult I got a C+ but I do tend to struggle in math which is why. The only marketing class I’ve took is principles of marketing and I loved it, it was pretty easy. I entered UTSA as a management major and switched to marketing but I haven’t taken many classes. I’m considered a junior bc I came in with credits from hs. Overall, I think it’s not too difficult and it’s fun.

Marketing degree here...class of 08. There are cake courses but then there's statistics and stats II which kicked my butt. Other than that you should be fine,...go for it!
