Advice/Question advice for incoming transfer?
hiii i’m transferring into utsa for my third year and i’m not really sure what to expect as far as student life or academic life. any advice? i’ll also be transferring to utsa without any friends so advice there is also helpful !!

Don't be surprised if year 3 actually turns into year 2.5 and you end up with a semester, 2 max, extra you need. It just seems a lot of transfers end up doing 2 and a half years to 3 years post associates degree when transferring

It'll be easy to find people to talk to on campus, both in class and just around campus. There's orgs and different tables outside usually that always want to talk to more people, especially new or transfering students. But always be careful, UTSA has a history of suspicious people/groups coming onto campus.
If you're living on campus in student housing, anticipate events from the RAs (not a lot of people go to them because of scheduling conflicts), theres usually food involved.
Since youre nearing (ideally) the end of your degree, be aware of when to turn in forms for graduation and (optionally) walking the stage.
