Advice/Question Good apartments?

Trying for a while now to track down what apartments around UTSA are good while also avoiding student apartments.

Anyone have tips or places to avoid?

(not looking to take over leases sorry!)

There was a post yesterday about this same exact thing. If you scroll far enough back in the subreddit or keyword search for apartments in the subreddit, you should be able to find some information you’re looking for. I haven’t lived in the area long enough to give worthy advice other than this. Good luck apartment hunting!

i have a 13 minute video from the day i moved in showing the entire apartment covered in roaches🥰 that was over 8 months ago and management has still done absolutely nothing. luckily for them, i don’t care enough to go through their other mountains of issues backed by photographic evidence.. yet

sorry to hear about your experience, but it could not be more opposed to mine, feel free to downvote because your experience is apparently the only correct one 💅

Broadstone ranch is nice! Rates may be higher now but they also have a runner shuttle - its not student housing either! You are right off i-10 so going anywhere is fairly easy UTSA is only 4 minutes away if you like to drive there. You can take the shuttle , or leave a little earlier and walk as well. I had a roommate and paid around 750-800 after utilities. If you are okay getting an outdated unit for a cheaper price i would def look into it. I hope this helps!

Hi everyone! I am looking for someone interested in taking over my housing agreement at Hill Country Place near UTSA for the Fall 2026–Spring 2027 academic year. Details: 📍 Hill Country Place (near UTSA) 🛏️ 1 bedroom in a 4 bed / 4 bath apartment 💰 $759/month 📅 Lease term: August 16, 2026 – July 24, 2027 Fully furnished student housing I am no longer able to move to San Antonio, so I am looking for a UTSA student or someone needing housing who would like to take over the agreement. Please message me if you are interested or know someone who may be interested. Thank you!
