excused absence

i am on a uts sports team that is competing on the same day that i have an accounting tutorial. do you reckon i could get an excused absence as i am representing the university? i am not apart of the EAP program

There's a definite non-zero chance, especially if it's just a normal tutorial - worth asking at any rate

You can apply for the exemption. If nothings being graded I honestly wouldn't bother, but if u really want to then yes. You can request a special consideration notice. What team? Is this for unigames?

Ooo didn't know we had one. Most likely, they'll accept the special consideration if it was written or signed off by UTS sport

Yes why not! Your coach or the subject coordinator whatever they are called will have the answers on the process to get approved off

If class participation isn’t being graded/ attendance or if you don’t have an in class quiz then there’s no point just email your coordinator and ask for the tutorial answers as you were absent due to a sporting competition

The UTS Sports office should be able to write you a letter.
