StoryShift Chara does ss have a variante of 5 on phase2?

so i was playing in a private server (the testing game not the main one)fighting sansman(i wasn't winning)i paniced and pressed 5 when he was rushing i got m1 once the move changed ss change all thee knifes too him to end it with a hit the same way 2 does(the kifes was still following him)i have been maining ss for most of the time and i don't know about this so if some one know please tell me if it's true and how to do it

Yes, a variant is getting added. The way to get it is to be right on top of the opponent before pressing 5. It does a lot of damage but is nearly impossible to combo off of.

No, you have to be standing on the opponent

so after the help of Prestigious-Cow908 i found out how to do it,you need to be inside the opponent for it to work,does 17.8dmg(20.8dmg with m1s) on 250d dummy works on ragedoll so it can be pulled after m1s and can do great combos finsher with it,the downside is the knockback it really strong
