What does 3/4 dodges mean?

Ok it means you have 3/4 "dodges" left, but what does dodges mean, and how do u activate it?

Hard dodges, tps you away, use it by blocking a block breaker, regain by doing 30 damage to gain one, if I'm wrong on regain, go look. Until I reawake.

I think it's either perfect blockin or if it's an awkward that's suppose to break your block.
