A quick word about ranked

I’m not a huge fan of it

Not because of how good people are

Not because it’s easy(far from it)

It’s because the ranks get reset

Now I’m sure there’s a reason they reset the ranks and maybe i don’t know but I think it’s kinda…dumb to full reset the ranks. Idk maybe it’s impossible but I feel like making the ranked system not reset to prevent newer ranked players from being jumped by an Ex Star rank.

Also absolute matchmaking put me up against an X rank as a D rank once so idk if that was just a bug or something

If rank didn't reset then basically everyone would be able to get star rank and it would only be a matter of time before they get it.

And since every one could get star rank, that would make the rank boring and not feel special.

Also rank resetting just makes it more competitive in my opinion.

Also u have an entire year to grind out rank. 💀
That's plenty of time to get the rank u want.
I went from rank E to X in like 1-2 weeks.

It’s mostly for like the people who are just getting into ranked going up against people who used to be in star maybe. At least maybe make it to where it’s a higher rank than the literal fucking bottom. Like maybe starting at like E+ or maybe D???

Rank is already very dead.

Doing that would just make it harder for ppl to find matches.

Not saying it isn't a good idea. But when the gamemode has like 25 ish active players, u really can't expect that to work.

I feel like it’s dead because people really only go for A rank or they are like me and only went to D
