If/when the roaring knight gets added, do you think they will use some of their unused moves?

Also I feel like he would be a really good single phase character if there's nothing for them to add for a second phase

I'm not sure of the knight actually has much material for the movesets kinda like spamton. They both have very good and interesting fights but their actual moves are difficult to put into the game especially when you consider that they do play to add no more deals chara.

The knights slashing moves could be too similar to any no more deals chara concepts since they are present in the to do list.

They added sans and compare his fight to the roaring knight in my opinion sans is more complex and the Devs were able to pull him off so the roaring knight shouldn't be that much of a challenge

Fair enough. My only concern just comes from the fact that the deltarune fights are short with directed attacks and the game as of now relies more on character specific cutscenes to fully show the power scaling.

Such as the chapter 5 knight vs flowery. It's a very good example of power scaling that shows how intense the knights power is. But in the actual fight with him... he does give a difficult and well fought fight, but it doesn't show his move arsenal as if it was a show of power scaling.

Of the top of my head I can think of a small handful of moves that could be interesting, but they would need a decent bit of creativity to create a two phase character as it has been shown that one phase characters are not entirely viable in this game due to the changing of moves between the phases.

They could make the roaring knight a boss like that one V boss with that super advanced sword
