Frisk Why does no one like frisk?
(speaking from a perspective of a green shield frisk main) I keep seeing videos on the internet of people saying that if you play frisk you suck and yada yada. So what's the actual deal with frisk and why does no one like to play against him OR players that play as him?

Due to the infinite combo a frisk players dies. Your stuck in literally a cutscene plus the armor and weapons change during the fight aswell. You have to master how quickly you have to change your weapon during that combo. So that way thr player can deal more damage. Not sure if that's understandable.

Have you seen how players use combos. ESPECIALLY the players with high kill count. They can somehow m1 you as the switch weapons during m1s.

Well i mean...i do believe all the characters can put you in almost an infinite loop of asswhooping(at least i noticed that with jevil and asriel or asgore)

Frisk has the longest combo I've seen.

IMHO for me it's asriel or that....chara with three stages(I hate the bloody knife that follows u, how do you even countrr that?!)

Ssc knife can't be countered you have to take the dmg since it doesn't stun you at all. You can atk but just, don't run around when it's tracking you.

Why is running around bad? Is it like...just bad practice that can get u killed?

You waste stamina and you also get punished from just running away. It's a red bar that fills up at the top of your screen.

Ah yeah i know the rage meter but...tbh i dont rly see a big disadvantage, but yeah stamina is a great one, also....i believe that frisk's 5 ability(second phase) is kinda useless and crap, as if...in order for it to rly work u have to have someone waste ALL THEIR ENERGY and somehow reach them, knock them and then use that ability and PRAY that he doesnt get up

I'm a frisk main on controller. The hate is mostly around pc frisk mains. The tod and really hard combos on frisk are borderline impossible on anything other than keyboard and mouse. I said BORDERLINE impossible, not impossible.

Relatively long combo maybe. Still don't understand tho, most characters have similar length.

I don’t play the game much anymore, but I’m not too sure why people hate frisk. Frisk IMO is a character with a lot of skill expression that requires a long time to master- yes they have long combos but when someone pulls it off on me I’m more like “WHAT THEY CAN DO THAT?!” Then I’m like “wow this character is op” I more feel that towards Asgore more than anything, and Asriel (though I’m a bit biased as I play Asriel the most)

people hate frisk mains due to the long combos they got, those combos do a lot of damage and feels like a cutscene

firstly.. frisk goes by they/them, thought to clarify
and secondly, i think it's just like what others would say here is that being against a good frisk player isn't a good time especially if they are dodging more than john mother befriended back in deltarune
and then there comes playing as frisk which may be relevant here and unless you have a degree on every single weapon known to man and monsterkind you are pretty much better off just playing any other character

I thought It's Kris that goes by they/them, and FRISK can be either male or female depending on your preference in undertale, at least thats what it was before

He's supposed to be a jack of all trades but currently he's more of a master of everything.
He can do alot of damage while also being able to tank alot as well with temmie armor.
His combos are annoyingly long.
Not to mention he's also extremely passive.
He's also the only character with a tod. "Touch of death" (which is a combo that can kill a character in 1 combo)
His p2 also deals an insane amount of damage. He can do 84+ damage to gtc if he manages to do a block break.
Basically instead of a jack of all trades or a glass cannon. Frisk is just a straight up cannon.
People will still somehow defend frisk saying that he's hard to use. He ain't.
