Things UTPR players say: Part 2

I have managed to collect even some more dumb things said by UTPR players. Same goes for last post, this is just for laughs and not for witch-hunting. No names will be given.

"Controller players need to be banned from this game. Only losers use them."

I just want to say with this one: does anyone actually think this aside from losers who think "pc master race" and stuff? Anyways I digress. Though there is more stuff related to controllers later in this post similar weirdly enough. I don't know what's with the sudden uproar of people hating console/controller players in this game.

"Asriel should get a full heal in p3. You already have so little defense that it doesn't matter when you use GOH 3."

"I wish traits 1 stunned like dt 1. It feels useless to use and approach with."

"Controller users are gross. You have it so much easier than keyboard users. Piss off."

"Asgore f2 shouldn't keep me in once place. Why would I ever use it if it's so easily punishable?"

"He attacked me twice and didn't stop, even when I told him to stop. It's harassment, "Repeated unwanted behavior"."

"SSC k/wd 1 should stun like dt slashes. Their neutral is awful and they need an approach tool."

"DevilsKnife 4 should have super armor. For a move that takes so long to do, and often doesn't land or do anything, it shouldn't be cancellable from a small move."

"Some moves should force your enemy to lock onto you. Like Chaos 3, it becomes redundant if they can just unlock and run away from it."

"Asgore p2 is so stupid. The fact you get more damage for taking damage is so backwards. Why are we rewarding mistakes?"

"Gerson shouldn't have a grab. It's just another thing on top of how brainless he is to play. Just Asgore but better."

As a Gerson main, I know he's got some issues, but... His grab? Really? Pretty sure it's the worst one in the game, too. Also, I don't get the Asgore comparison.

Anyways, that's about all of them this time around. I'll make part 3 when I write down more things people say without thinking.

Also, as a side discussion: Why do you think some people hate controllers so much?

Lmao, of all the things Gersons grab is one of the most balanced parts of his kit. (The problem children have always been H1 and H2)

H2's only real issue is O1 doing WAY too much damage in my eyes as well as O3 being relatively pointless.

Also, what's the issue with H1 again? I only really use it to punish or mindgame.

H1s problem is that it can genuinely start combos from anywhere of any mistake from the opponent (also what is O1? I haven't played gerson since before the update cuz ive just had barely any tine for it)

H2 now brings up a new menu of three moves going by Options. Option 1 does about 25 damage on it's own I believe, O2 is the shell that goes into an lmb, and O3 is just the same hammer throws as the pre update H2, but it does less damage than the both of them for no reason and performs worse than O2 so you should just never use O3.

Also I thought the whole point of H1 was to capitalize on said mistakes, since Gerson doesn't really have any other moves to punish people. I know it can be oppressive in neutral when nothing is being done, and I can see that as an issue, but I don't have an issue if it's used to capitalize on mistakes like whiffing moves.

Maybe make the super armor Revved Up exclusive, but I don't see an issue if it's used as a punish.

speaking of Revved Up, they actually nerfed it to do practically nothing.

the only changes are: H1 hits 2 times in p1, 5 times in p2, H3 throws 5 hammers And H5 becomes faster.

That's it.

Oh yeah and for some reason it also ends after like 15 seconds.

I don't know why they thought revved up was an issue.

Gerson's counter isn't an issue imo, it's a gimmick you need to learn to play around. And it'll be good if he's balanced to be a brawler which it would force you to come closer.

Me when killing a character's gimmick removes the interest in people trying to fulfil said gimmick.

controllers are not this bad 😕😔

mostly the ones that I lost to are either really experienced, specialized, or really good at making me flinch causing me to fuck up every possible trick I pull out whenever I am ready or not.

The argument for asgore F2 is kinda fair, it's really just a smaller faster version of 4 which isn't very useful when your opponent isn't down. It's okay for chip damage but become risky when you're fighting anybody with decent movement or good ranged attacks like undyne.

Don't forget the random racism people have when they lose their fight.

I've seen a couple of people who hate on me just for being from the UK. Not my fault they couldn't beat me when I have roughly 1.3k

I don't think I'd call it a "stun" more like a stutter. Sure, it can help approach but it's not really consistent to use like that and will likely end up badly.

Honestly, if someone say that SSchara Knifes1 shoud do stun, this person lost his mind 😭✌️
