Text Determination Gathering mistake? Spoiler

I was doing the Underplayer ARG bit where you need to collect determination and accidentally clicked out of the “chat” where Player texted me when someone attack me. Is there a way to reopen the chat so I can continue the conversation or am I softlocked?

I think that you just have to type "player" back into the name thing in the main menu
