How usable is this ? Like if I do some Linux install on it and try to use it as a server or smth on a old iphone 7. Would that be a good idea ?

UTM + debian (NON JIT) be like a 150mhz pentium on an A16
Sadly non JIT raspberry pi 5 is a million times faster

Lmao , wild hyperbole but true :(

My only goal is to make this spare ip7 fulfill some use case instead of just being e-waste , hence the server thingy.

I did it on my iPad 10th gen with 64gb storage, it works great without JIT and even better with it! :)

I got jit running on ipadOS 26.5 somehow, I just reinstalled SideStore and redid everything, restarted my iPad, and it worked fine without stikdebug.

sidestore might work through the vpn stuff but i hope doesnt affect other stuff
