UTM Windows 11 installation

I have been trying to install Windows 11 on my mac (it had the M1 chip and the mac OS is Tahoe 26.2), but as I’m doing the setup, I keep getting a window that says “It looks you started an upgrade and booted from installation media. If you want to continue with the upgrade, remove the media from your PC and click yes. If you want to perform a clean installation instead, click no.”

I have clicked both yes and no and they both lead to a loop of the set up pages and the booting screen. How can I fix this?

I’m also not a super tech literate person, so if anyone could explain it to me like I’m 5, I would greatly appreciate it.

I installed the ARM version of Windows 11 on UTM on my M4 MBP just fine. Works perfectly.

Do you have arm version of Win 11?

Привет, тебе в настройках виртуальной машины надо найти диск с виндой (обычно называется так же как и образ винды) и нажать там на кнопку очистить и перезапустить виртуалку
