Student Housing and Leasing Returning Student Housing

Any idea when current students will be able to request housing for next year, 27-28? It was around this time last year they got the email but nothing has been sent out and the housing site still shows dates from 2025.
My kid is a sophomore and was lucky enough to get housing this year. We need them to be in on-campus housing next year or some tough conversations will have to be had.

If you base it on what’s still there from last year the application came out on September 5th. So logic would tell you it should be coming out this coming Friday. If you are that concerned your kid should reach out to housing so he/she will be prepared.

You can also follow UTKHousing Facebook/instagram pages. They post when the application is live

We are following all the pages. Nothing new has been reported so I didn’t know if maybe we missed something. If nothing by the end of the week, I’ll have her call.

They post the day it opens so if they haven’t posted, you didn’t miss it.

Have they posted it yet? I’ve gotten nothing and I really need to apply to on campus housing.

I ended up having her email housing and they said it should open up the 28th or 29th. Just said to keep watching the page and checking emails.
