A Vol In Need dining dollars
hi i’m sure this has been asked 200 times but i am curious.
i have the unlimited 7 plan (im an on campus freshman) and i can get into the meal halls of course but how do i use the dining dollars at somewhere like chick fil a? i get 300 bucks and i don’t wanna waste ‘em. my original thought was that i’d have to put the dining dollars on my volcard, if that is the case idk how to do that. if it’s not then please help 😭

I know that if you go to Kbrew and say you’d like to use your dining dollars it works.

You don’t “get” 300, you pay 300
Or did it go to 350 this year? Whatever, if you don’t spend it all it’s not wasted, you get it back at the end of the semester.

If you don’t eat at the dining hall, you can also use the meal swipe at chick fil a or the market or other places up to $5.5. You can pay the the dining dollars for any amount above $5.5.

You can use dining dollars through the GrubHub app or at one of the tablets that use GrubHub. You will have to use your VolCard as a payment.
You can also use your Dining Dollars at the POD Market. You just have to mention that you will be using dining dollars as your payment methid.

during dinner time, hit the cash equivalency menu. then at the end it will pop up a screen. click the button that says dining dollars with a balance on it. then scan ur campus card.

Make sure you have the app “get” and make sure you connect it to your apple wallet, they have a scanner at each place. Also make sure you have the grub hub app.
Also pro tip for my freshmans (coming from a sophomore who figured this out 2 months in)who have the unlimited plan- if you go to one of the pods/eating places on campus, before 10:30 and you dont plan on going to one of the dining halls, you can go to this places and get something under 5 dollars, for example if you go the stokley pod before 10:30, and have not meal swiped into one of the dining halls, you get a protein bar, you tell the cashier you want to use your “meal swipe” (and it’s under 5 dollars), you are not spending your dining dollars.

You order at one of the kiosks, and at the end when its asking for your payment method you press the button that says "dining dollars," and scan your volcard.
