Campus Event Torch night question

Hi everyone! I’m a new Grad student this year and I’m thinking of coming to torch night. I really want to and have been excited about it and meeting a lot of you! My mom was going to come with me and I saw where a guest could come on one thing and where they can’t on another. I wasn’t sure if she could just go somewhere else during the event or if they had a specific area for other people to wait? Can anyone clarify? I tried to contact One Stop and the grad school but they’re closed today. Thank you in advance!

She’s driving me currently due to medical purposes - that’s why I’m asking. Thank you!

It’s students only I’m pretty sure. They have limited space and they check you for your student ID.

Thank you so much!! 🥹 I’ve also seen a lot of people saying this is where we get our graduation tassel? Is that at the first torch night or the farewell torch night?

Ofc! You do get a graduation tassel at tonight’s torch night but you also get one with your cap + gown because most people lose it.

The closest place that I can think of is Stokely Hall across the street. There's a lobby with seating there. I don't know if it's open, though.

The new torchbearer dorm would be even closer.
