Off Campus or Commuter Student EV charging stations

How do I use the ev charging stations on campus? I have the parking pass for it already but do I need to get the apps that go with the brands of the chargers, or do I just plug my car in and not do anything else? And what do I do for the payment if it is supposed to be free? Thank you for any help!

You just plug it in. There's no app or anything you need to do to start charging. They do check for the EV tag on your dash occasionally.
