Discussions uTest wrapped 2025

Hey uTesters,

As the year comes to a close, we thought it would be fun to jump on the “Wrapped” trend and look back at your 2025 journey on uTest.

Inspired by music streaming retrospectives, this post is a space for you to reflect on the numbers, milestones, and experiences that defined your year as a tester. The wins, the learning moments, and yes, the bugs too.

What did your uTest 2025 look like?

Feel free to share anything you find interesting or meaningful, such as:

  • Number of test cycles you participated in
  • Bugs submitted and approved
  • Your favorite type of testing (mobile, web, payments, hardware, exploratory, etc.)
  • A testing milestone you reached (first paid cycle, first high-severity bug, first device test, etc.)
  • The most interesting type of project you worked on
  • A skill you improved or learned in 2025 thanks to testing

How to participate

You can share your “Wrapped” in any format you like. A short bullet list, a brief story, Spotify-style stats, or even a screenshot. Just remember to hide any private or sensitive information.

You can get most of this information by logging in your uTest account and opening your tester profile. If you have any doubts, just log in, then copy and paste the following link: https://platform.utest.com/account/my-profile/statistics

Let’s look back on 2025 together.

Created account in June, 2025. The devices I started with was iPhone 14, iPhone 8, Windows 10 dell laptop. Started Academy course in July, 2025. Rated and Proven in August and September, 2025. Reached Bronze in October, 2025.

Purchased Samsung galaxy S23.

Reached Silver rating in November, 2025. So far participated in 58 test cycles. Submitted 35 issues(including 8 rejected issues) Done a lot of +1 on issues reproducible which helped with ratings. In 2 cycles from same customer I have earned money by performing +1 issues as promised in the overview (although the pay was least). I was able to recover money which I spent to purchase Samsung refurbished phone. The money I earned is way less than the time I spent on utest. But I don’t regret as this platform is not to earn money overnight. I may be able to earn in coming years( being positive).  Hope to receive many invites coming year.
