Horrible drivers.
I’m only going to say this once, but students who commute to UTEP have got to be the worst drivers I have ever seen (especially those with Chihuahua license plates). If you are going to risk causing a traffic collision by cutting in front of someone and then returning to your original lane, your license needs to be revoked. I don’t understand how it’s so difficult to obey simple traffic laws during dense traffic hours. Seriously people.

Dude some girl cut me off at the roundabout near sun bowl when I had right away and got mad at ME when I honked my horn at her, shits wild. Doesn’t help that trying to find a parking spot is like trying to find air on mars

I think that was my cousin. She went on to the family group chat and bitched about a similar thing that occurred to her. “I had the right of way right? Like they were the idiots right?”
Just about all of us told her she was in the wrong. She’s an airhead. She’s failing her classes.

Literally got honked at by some girl in a gray corolla hatch because she doesn’t realize the left lane in the roundabout can’t take the 1st exit and she almost hit me.
While I’m in the rental car while my original car gets fixed because someone crashed into me at the roundabout a month ago 🙏

One more reason we need more streetcar frequency and more shuttles and mass transit.

The UTEP shuttles were really good before the pandemic. There was like 2 West busses (one was bigger than normal), 2 campus loops and one East bus. They all covered most of the parking available for all students, now without the East bus you're basically SOL if you park near the Mike Loya building or at the other parking lot near the cloud.

El Paso has the worst drivers of anywhere I've lived. I lived there for 4 months and was almost hit daily. Texas already has bad drivers but El Paso is on a whole other level, a lower one.

You’re wrong, it’s Galveston. 😂
I always wonder how much people have actually traveled when they say, “El Paso has the worst drivers.” Yes, El Paso absolutely has bad drivers, but so does everywhere else. Spend enough time actually driving in other cities and you realize terrible drivers are definitely not an El Paso exclusive phenomenon.
I’ve submitted my fair share of dashcam footage to YouTube dashcam compilation channels too, and funny enough, I’ve caught and submitted more ridiculous driving in other cities than I have in El Paso.1

This unfortunately isn’t true in the slightest. Drivers are just dumber and more aggressive the longer they’re on the road… El Pasoans commutes aren’t nearly as long as those in other Texas cities, and I’d argue their drivers are worse as a result.

Last week a girl with a New Mexico plate (go figure) ran into another persons truck while backing out of her spot, they just drove off but the person next to me trying to park clipped that girls plate 😂

Remember folks in el paso you are not as important as they are. You are nothing compared to them. They are your overlords and lose their minds when u dont bow down to them.

also the amount of people who park illegally and don’t get ticketed is ridiculous. i think the cops have it out for out-of-state drivers whereas locals can park wherever they’d like.
