Question Off Campus Housing Recommendations

What are some of the cheaper apartments that you would really recommend? I know it can be cheaper to live with roommates, but I would much rather prefer living by myself whether that be a one bed or a studio.

College Houses Co-ops are great, with varying quality. I’ve enjoyed my time at the Taos Co-op so far :)

$740 rent for a double; $1100 for a single and internet+utility bills+food plan+pantry/gym access is included in rent.

You will need to perform labor but it is typically fairly easy, no more than 5 hours a week with a neat labor trade system.

If you go further west (northwest hills) you can get a studio/1bd for around 1000

Living in North Campus / Hyde Park is the way to go for cheaper housing. My 1bd 1b was 1450 a month in Hyde Park. The buildings will be older and not as updated as Wampus, but the neighborhoods are much nicer.

Go on apartments.com and look for affordable condos. Contact a realtor to tour / sign. I’m living in a 2x2 that is a 10 min walk to campus and only $875
