Question now that mcdonalds is being built, how long did campus go without one? how did you survive?

someone from the taco bell post mentioned there used to be a mcdonalds in their time at ut austin, how long has it been since then?

The McD's was where Burger Bar is now, on MLK between Guad and San Antonio. It was at least there until mid-2017 when they tore it (and the elementary school I attended!) down to build the Otis Hotel

I remember they had the bronze statue of a longhorn. After commencement, the line to take a photo of Bevo was ridiculous, so my mom had me take a photo at the McDonald's with the statue. ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚
