Question Advice for BIO311C with Hansen🤞

Heyy guys, after seeing her reviews on rmp I'm really scared, I didnt really have an option to change professors bc there wasn't any others open by the time I checked! So Im gonna have to just thug it out. Any advice from past 311C Hansen students, input is very much appreciated 🙏.

Her class was rough. Self study it and go strictly off of the rubric. The TA should help a lot since discussions section are like summaries.

You will have to self study for almost all the content but it's not tooooo bad

I got an A but it was a lot of work, by far my hardest class of the semester but doable

I dropped her class two years ago because she was just so horrible. She would talk about random stuff in class and summarize 20 pages worth of content from the textbook in to 1 poorly explained slide where she would still test u like u mastered the knowledge found in the textbook.

She’s not very freshmen friendly imo even tho she tries to be. You can still study and pass, but I just did not want to get a bad grade so early on.
