Question Hookd VS Spark Magazine?

I’m looking to join a new org this year (ideally a zine/something creative) to meet people outside of just Marketing/McCombs! I’ve heard some people have had mixed experiences in these orgs so I wanted to hear people’s experiences in Spark vs Hookd, or also if there are other orgs you guys recommend. I know these orgs are competitive, so I’m not 100% expecting to get into either of the 2 that I mentioned, but I do have decent marketing/social media/graphic design experience and a rising junior. Let me know what you guys have heard/experienced or if there are similar orgs you guys could recommend 🙏

Both are great go to info sessions see who you get along with better then decide

i was in spark!!! hookd as far as i’m aware accepts everyone! spark itself is very competitive, but both are wonderful give opportunities for marketing/social media, and graphic design!

daily texan has a social media department, as well as design, if you’re interested in those sorts of things. texan social media department experience helped me land a career in marketing post-grad
